need help with tire size

i have a 97 explorer sport and i want to get the widest tires i can fit with a 3 inch lift. if i get a tire between 31 and 33 in hight how wide can i go??....i will do a fender trim if needed

10.50 in width on a stock rim may or may not work. If you with an 15x8 wheel, it should be fine.

I think 33's may require a little bit of trimming depending on where they hit.
