need help with truck/commercial route on 2010 Explorer Nav

Just this week I purchased a new 2010 Eddie Bauer Explorer V8 with tow package to pull my travel trailer. I was initially very impressed with the navigation system but am now totally disappointed that apparently there isn't a way to program in a truck or commercial route to avoid parkways and other roads that don't allow trailers!

Does anyone know a way around this? How can I update or change the system to allow navigation on a truck or commercial route? I am going from NY to FL next month with the trailer and really don't want to have to bring my Garmin along...

Further ?. I don't have navi, but want to add to my Alpine system. Will any plug in? I'd rather not have 4screens going up front.

there should be a dealer upgrade for this navi system.
