I'm looking at just keeping my X on a stock suspension. I'm looking at installing some 17 or 18 inch wheels. What is the max tire size I can get by with? I'm wanting to put a little bit agressive style tire on it. Any suggestions?

well i have a 94 with 20's and about two inches of tire. its a very close fit and i cant always turn as sharp as wish i could. im not to sure with yur newer explorer but with only 17 or 18 you should be good for a desent size. go to yur local tire dealer and they have all that type of info on almost every car, truck, van etc
