Need Help

I swapped a 2000 4.0 ohv engine with a 2 wire camshaft sensor into my 1998 Explorer which had a 4.0 ohv engine with a 3 wire camshaft sensor. What are my options. Can I simply rewire it?

Welcome to this forum! You should swap the wiring harness so that you don't get computer issues.

swap the sensor it can be changed but intake may have to come off the housings may have to be changed also pull sensor off and see if the housing windows are the same if not you must change that too this is timed so it must go in correctly.
