Okay, I have a 2004 Ford Explorer & even when I fasten my seatbelt the seatbelt warning chime continues to go off about 5 or 6 times before it quits chiming. This drived me nuts. I don't want to take it to a dealer to fix. That is probably very expensive. I just want to disarm it It is very old & I plan on driving it another year or so. Any way to just disconnect the wire or pull a fuse to stop it ?

Have you tried the disabling steps? I.e. put key in on position, buckle and unbuckle x amount of times, etc.?
