does anoyone have a schematic or wiring diagram for the factory JBl permium system, also, I need specs, i.e. how much power drives each speaker. I want to repalace the front sepakers w/ separates, to do this I will probably need a small amp for them, how can I do this and still keep all the other stuff factory? thanks!

I did a post on something similar to this, if you do a search and put in something like "what are the specs for JBL system" and you should get something. Hope that helps a bit.

hey I know for a fact me and you got the same system in our cars (the JBL setup). Does your by anychance , when u turn it up full blast your bass intends to fade away like there is none and all you get is tweeters and highs?

What I think I am going to do to my Bauer is run and converter for a pre-amp hook up and then run my MTX setup. I think it will bump then. My amps got Ballz to push!!
keep rollin :)

My system does that. I've heard that it was designed this way. That's what I've heard so this may not be true. BTW, my system is the JBL system too.

bass at high volume

Billy/others,
my system does not do that, so I wonder if the previous owner upgracded the sub, ahve to check, but at persent, mine gets great bass at high volumes. Anyone know if the door sepakers are powered by an amp and what wattage?

yes

when I had my stock system, it faded just like that, I was told it was because the amp for the factory sub was not powerful enough to keep going up, so it sort of maxed out.. I dunno, I've pretty much dumped the whole thing, I'm considering replacing my door stockers with components now
