I don't know if there was a change between the '02s and '03s, but the jack, handle, and extensions from the '01 and earlier Explorers are the same as the '01 and '02 Sport Tracs, or nearly so, with a minor exception. The ST jacks have 2 holes in the base that the hold-down bracket fits into. The Explorer jacks lack the holes, so they don't work with the ST hold-down bracket. I've had an Explorer jack laying loose behind the seat of my '01 for 6 years, and I've never heard it rattle or move.
