NEED LIFT KIT HELP IMMEDIATELY!

All in all- everything worked well except the front bumper is being a pain. The mounts are cheap so im going to make my own. And you cant have the fog lights on if you want to raise the bumper.

The wires don't reach? Just extend them.

The rear was a piece of cake and i guessed perfectly and drilled the whole for myspare tire lift.

I thought the front bumper was the easy part and the front bumper was the crappy part.

Also, what did you do for bolts? Did you have to buy any? Or did you reuse the longer factory ones where needed?

Definately update on how the truck rides with its new height and new tires.

When you lift the front bumper the fog lights hit the frame. the bumper brackets are really cheap and while tightening a bolt (by hand) i ripped their welded bolt out... so i had to put my own in. By doing that- the bracket on the bumper doesnt sit flush with the 2" bracket so my bumper looks bent downwards... to fix thim im going to sodder the bracket directly to the frame. (this all make any sense?)

I had to buy a lot of bolts. I couldnt tell you exactly what size or how many- just make sure you have a store nearby that sells nuts and bolts and you'll be making at least 2 trips there. Im hoping to get my tires tomorrow. If i do i should have pictures up by the end of this week.

**the whole in the bumper is NOT visible when the rear hatch is closed. What i did was "eye" up about where the whole should be and drilled straight downwards with a 7/8" bit and then angled it horizontally. I then took a 1/2" but thats about 15" long and drilled toward where i thought the gadget thingy is.... nailed it! it was cool as hell when i looked underneath and saw my drill but was directly in line.

You're going to solder to the frame?

Did you use the brackets provided in the 2" kit or did you buy some from Performance Accessories? (I thought that you couldn't use the front brackets provided in the PA-792 kit)

Maybe I'll have better luck since you and I have different front bumpers.

Thats wierd.. SSISKORA said you could just reuse the factory bolts where needed.

You can reuse the factory bolts in some areas, and use the bolts that came in the kit IF AND ONLY IF you drill out some of the bushings. I did not have to go and purchase ANY additional bolts.

Awesome! Looks like a Stomper now. congrats! :D

He went over the data transfer limit for geocities (already!).
