need new tires for 16" wheels

i have the stock chrome 16" wheels, the 3-spoke looking ones. i need new tires bad. the size on there now is 235/70/16. I wanna go with some AT tires, and something reasonably priced. Which sizes can I run? I'd like to go 30" or 31" at the most but not sure if they will fit with stock height and 16" wheels.

you can fit 31.2x10.8 on P275/70 R16 with no trimming i believe atleast on a 03 sport trac you can.

I ran 245/75/16's (30x9.65) on a stock 2dr for a while.

thanks guys. i ended up ordering some bridgestone dueler ATs on sale at a sears auto center, 255/70/16. they look awesome and got great reviews on tirerack.com. the ones i have on there now are pretty bad. also, my truck came stock with this tire size, but whoever previously owned it put on 235s for some reason. oh well.
