Ive been wanting a 2000 loaded mounty 5.0. for the longest.... longest time. One just popped up around me in miiiinty mint condition! Now the questions..... Can i use my superlift on that truck? I know all outta be identical but the only concern outta be the constant rotation of the front driveshaft. IF that is the only set back id be saved with the 4406. But if that swap were not instant would the awd tcase/driveshaft survive with the superlift for a period of time?
Now with my lift i have now its originally from a 2000 ex on my 96 now so myth busted if anyone mentions compatability with year, not v6/v8. Also is there a chance of the mounty having the stiffer t-bars?

The V8 usually has the stiffer torsion bars, but you would have to check on the door tag.

the front shaft issue can be worked around, put the front out of the 96 in it , and there is a harness you can make to work the vacuum diff, eliminating the turning,

there have been several rigs that used the superlift on a cv type front shaft, and they lived a while before developing shaft issues,, and than it was just a rebuild of the cv and good to go again,,

the drop brackets for the t bars are plenty strong enough for the v8 bars, and yes they are a bit stiffer, but not much,,

This is exactly what i was looking to hear! You may see my sig change soon, only time shall tell!
