I just installed a Superlift 4" suspention lift on my 05' Sport Trac and I want to install Rancho RS 9000 shocks. Rancho does not have a listing for them, is their any other application that will fit?

Call the guys at 4wheel parts with the measurements of your stock shocks and they will be glad to look through the dimension sheets from Rancho to find what will fit.

I did and they nailed it.

yeah go thru 4wheel parts. also post up pics, i have hardly seen any lifted sport tracs

i use rancho RS9012's... they are 14" travel so they wont limit your travel in the rear. Only thing you have to do is make a upper mount for them because they have a eye mount on both ends. The upper mount is as simple as drilling a hole and running a bolt through the hole.

Up front you have to get em to cross reference the superlift part shocks with the rancho numbers.

I had the same problem with my 4" Skyjacker lift no one (but skyjacer had shocks for it). Anyway after completing the lift I measured the ride height, collapsed, and extending lengths (eye hole to eye hole for the rear, and eye hole to coil bucket mount for the front)... I then downloaded Rancho's shock manual (Rancho's literature page) and found shocks that fit my measurements and mounting requirements. I ended up getting the adjustable 9000s since the shocks that fit were for a bronco (front) and excursion (rear). Shocks can be very subjective. One person can love a shock and another hate it. As such I could have gotten the non adjustable 5000s and saved 50% $$$, but the adjustability was a huge benefit IMO.

I know this is an old thread, but did anyone ever get any part numbers for these? I'm wanting to do the same thing with my lifted Sport Trac because the Superlift shocks suck. I know Rancho doesn't make anything that will directly fit the front, but I just need lengths. I would take the shocks off and measure them but its too freakin cold outside to do this is someone else already has!
