Need recommendation, head unit with iphone interface.

Hi,

I'm planning to replace the head unit on my 2001 explorer sport with an after market unit. I want to have an iPhone interface and radio. I don't have to have CD player. Any recommendations for under $300? Also, what kind of installation kit would I need?

While I do not have an iPhone, I do have an iPod, and I recently put this head unit in my 2001 Exploder Sport: http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/cde-103bt/

It allows control of the iPod through the head unit with a pretty easy user interface, and it has built-in BlueTooth. And they only run about $200.00. As for the kit you will need, I think the shop just used a standard Ford Explorer install kit. Not sure of the brand, probably Scosche.
