Need some help crank no start.

Do you think your engine ran for 8 months, then skipped time 180 degrees? And also coincidentally developed fuel pressure symptoms?

Yes I have fuel pressure now. My cams were 180 degrees out and so I put them back in time and reassembled it cranked over and acted like it would start and then wouldn't turn over at all. Only click and starter would hum. I thought motor locked up. The front cassette broke up and the pieces were wedged stopping the chain from turning. However that means I have to buy another timing kit correct?
Is your fuel pressure question resolved?

I would certainly be SURE that fuel pressure is adequate, consistent, and continuous, before addressing timing and compression issues.

Good luck.

I do think it ran for 8 months and the secondary tensioner and balance shaft tensioner failed and it jumped time. The 180 degrees was my fault because I didn't make sure I was at tdc on compression stroke.

Who makes your timing kit?

If it isn’t Ford, you’re wrong.
