I need some help and advice on finding some new front bucket seats for my 92 Explorer XLT. I am a big guy, and the driver's side seat is starting to break down. Mainly the seat back is falling backwards, the support under the seat has started to bend. Any ideas as to how to fix this, or where I might be able to get new seats for my baby.

ebay.com

Tons of places. Might even want to look into some nice aftermarket if you really want, or just call Ford, but they'll put a hole in your wallet, I'd try eBay.

Gee, what a helpful post, Bruce.

The very least you could have done is provided some links instead of your worthless post.

I did a quick search and the broken bolt problem is prone on 2nd gen X's but I didnt see anything in the first 2 of 9 pages when I did a search on "break seat". I got no hits on "heavy duty seat"

Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help everybody. Even you Bruce. I ende up fixing the seat last night. I took it to a local garage, and they let me use their shop. I removed the seat, completely uncovered the base, and dismanteled it. I then had one of the guys weld a piece of steel on it, and that has fixed the problem. Once again thank you for the help.
