unfortunately you have to remove the door panels. i have been pondering a way to cut out the grilles molded into the panel and replace with a removable grille but i havent had time lately

thanks for the impute so fast. would you be able to tell me how to remove the door panel to gain access to the speaker?

thanks
Ryan

door panel is attached on some clips and a screw or two. Screws are located right around the door pull lever. Once you remove them, remove block-off trim around the door pull lever and start pulling on the door panel from the bottom and work your way up, you'll have to lift door panel up once it's free to clear door lock pin. Once it's all off, see if all the clips are still on the door panel... if not, remove them from the door and install back on the door panel before reinstalling panels.

Good luck!

Thanks for the help much appreciated thats just what i needed to know.

thanks
Ryan
