Damn, doesn't anybody help new people here with out spending 20 bucks to become a " Elite Explorer"?

Well dogfriend, Thanks for your help on my problem. The link helped me out. Was a breeze to do. Out, swapped case half's and back in and driving 2 1/2 hrs. Easy as pie.. Now its time to fix a brake line and a power steering leak. After that, TIRES! Man them tires that came on it, SUCK. Will not go in the snow for crap LOL. Again,Thanks dogfriend! I'll PM ya when I get some pic's so you can see it.

I'm glad you got it fixed. I don't know why no one else chimed in, but it might be because there are less people checking the transmission threads these days. Most of the people here are very helpful.

Yeah me too! it will be nice to finely drive the damn thing! :p:

Thanks dogfriend! ANYBODY ELSE? :D

Well picked up another TC and after I got it up in I realized that there is no speed sensor on the TC! The holes there but there is no bolt hole to hold it down! It looks like the hole has a plug? Now what do I do!?! Any help would be nice. Thanks Jeff

PM Izwack. He is one of the moderators. He has built a hybrid case from a 97 and 98. He can tell you what your options are. I think your new case is a 98+. See this thread:

As you already discovered, the 97 case is its own *******ized machine. Unfortunately, a 97 case is the only one that will bolt in in its place without modification.

It has nothing to do with being elite, it has to do with your post days... weekends are a little slow around here, as many of us are either out wheelin' 'em, breakin' 'em, and wrenchin' on 'em. Posts between lunchtime Friday and late morning Monday often don't get much of a response, and sometimes fall through the cracks. Patience is a virtue and someone will always be along to help eventually. (It's what we love to do! That's why we're here!)
