I recently purchased a '91 Explorer EB, and want to ditch the tires that the previous owner put on. I'm not looking to raise the Explorer, but maybe give it that effect. What's the biggest size tires I can run on it (without lifting or rubbing) to make it look like that? And does anyone have anything good to say about certain rims or not? Any pictures would be great. Thanks.

W/O any mods - 30" x 9.5" x 15". For the looks, you could choose aggressive tires such as the MT or AT type, but your mileage will decrease.

Thanks for the help. How much to lifts (not too major) run? Like maybe a 1" or 2". The picture of the '92 looks awesome, but what would it look like lifted an inch or two? And if it's lifted how big can you fit? 31s, 32s, 33s? Pretty new to all of this stuff, but I've been reading around here for a while and the help given is pretty good. Thanks.
