i just found out that i need new brake pads and rotors... no problem i knew it was almost time.. i just had my backs done within the last yr, but i need front...

i just bought the pads - i went with the wagner pads - i got a good deal on this from advance auto parts. -

my question is about rotors?
i am looking at: Wearever Brake Rotor - Front 70bucks
or EBC rotors...
Centric Brake Rotor
my price range for both is 100.00

basically what is a good brand of rotors... i have a family friend who's going to help me with the install if i get the parts..

please inform - need all the help i can get... brakes are important and want to get a good set.

Centric Brake Rotor is a good quality rotor I would go with these.

There brake pads are also good.If you can get them use them instead of wagner

Stay away from the wearever.. I had em on my daily driver and they warped like crazy and I bedded the pads good.. Even after turning them they still had a vibration at certain speeds.. Got rid of them and ordered Wagner or Monroe from Rockauto and they've been great.. Just make sure you bed them.

i think you guys sold me - on the centric rotors.. how about sites... i am @ partsgeek.com now, what other sites do you guys like...

pads - if i were to return my pads what pads would you guys go w/

What is the main differences for the prices... i am thinking about the 43dollar ones... but i was just wondering
.

As far as what range to get (if they have more than 1 level), be sure they are mill-balanced. Don't worry about the metal too much. I don't think any aftermarket rotor castings are domestic anymore. Best you can find is "Made in the USA from high-quality castings", which means machined in USA from China castings.

As an engineer in the braking industry, I can tell you that things out of China are much better than they used to be. That doesn't mean I'm happy about it, but watcha gonna do?

How can you tell if a rotor is "mill-balanced " ?
