Currently I am running Diamond M5's up front off of 80watts rms. Seems to be plenty loud. My sub is being run off 320w rms but doesn't seem to work well. It is a Infinity Kappa 12". I want something that will make you feel it in your ribs. Maybe stepping down to a 10 in the right brand would work? Let me know what your recomendations are!

Oh yeh, my amp is a precision power ppx 480 I think it is. Nice amp.

I have a single Boston Acoustics 8" that I ran in my X and now in my VW and it can rattle your fillings loose if you turn the bass all the way up on the HU while still being very crisp. Great quality sub.

Look for a sub that can handle the power, yet has a high efficiency, this will make the most of the power you have.... There are so many brands to choose from, Might I recommend going to your local audio store and trying some out??

Good idea

I'm thinking some JB's might fit the bill. My Kappa just seems week. Also I think I have M5's up front, I can't keep track. I know they are good speaks. I just like a good sounding system. Thanks for the advice!

how about a brahma and more power

Go with eclipse titanium subs. Great sub and very very loud :D

What size box is your Infinity in? Sealed or ported? My friend has a single 12" Infinity in a .9 ft3 sealed box and we put it in my truck to compare subs. My amp was only giving it 300w (single vc) and it was very loud. Clean sounding with no distortion. I had the gains all the way down and the eq on the hu flat.
