I don't have my service manual with me, and need to tighten the front and rear frame bracket and endlink bolts for my swaybars. I didn't use a torque wrench when I changed the endlinks and added the EE swaybar, and they keep loosening up and making noise, so I'd like to get them torqued to factory settings. Anyone have a Ford CD or manual with the right #'s?

Thanks.

If you don't have harsh cold conditions, may I suggest that you put the stock end links back on. I have the entire EE kit, and an Energy Suspension kit for the front anti-sway bar. My 98 front endlinks are just as stiff as the aftermarket end links, so I left my stock pieces on. I was after the 34mm urethane frame bushings.

You might just need lock nuts. Good luck,
Don

From the Haynes Manual:

Front stabilizer bar link nuts = 15 to 21 ft lbs

Front stablizier bushing clamp bolts = 25 to 34 ft lbs

That's what I needed. Thanks!

As for the stock endlink bushings, mine were closer to petrified wood than rubber, and the Energy Suspension bushings and links made a huge difference. Needless to say, they're not coming off. It's really the rear bar that makes noise anyway, the front has been fine. Good idea on the locknuts though, I may try that.

Good luck. The reason I kept my stock endlinks is because they are not rubber. They are some kind of hard plastic. They are harder than the urethane bushings, and mine haven't ever made any noise. If they ever give me any trouble, then I might change them.
