need to know how to mount front bumper !

hey guys im in the middle of the body lift process and i have to get this thing done by tomrw. i went to that guys site at that is at marine tripod sumthing i dunno but he never put his front bumper back on he just put on the fascia does everyone do this or what i would like to put it back on so if someone could help me out id appreciate it

You use the provided bumper brackets and bolts and mount it to the frame and then mount the bumper to the brackets if I remember right.

if the kit supplied you with the new brackets it should be relativly simple... mount the new bracket to your frame, have a buddy hold your bumper up and bolt you bumper to the top holes on your frame... if the bumper gets in the way you may need to simply trim the fascia and bumper. if you werent supplied with a new bracket you may need to fabricate 2. this again should be quite easy, utilizing a piece of flat stock drill wholes to mount to both your fram and your bumper, remeber to space them accordingly to fill in the gaps created by the use of your body lift. I may be incorrect in some information i gave you because i am rather unfamilliar with the newer explorer and am assuming that both the older body styles (like my 94) and the newer styles (like your 01) use the same setup as far as the assembly of bumper brackets.. hope this information helps you.....

well guys i guess i forgot to mention i have the 01 sport so the bumper is a "blended bumper" from what i read on a site the guy did not ever put that back on but i want to because i kinda got fog lights hanging from there so if that changes anything....

its kind of hard to explain lacking pictures but there is one or two things you can do..

one notch the bumper and fascia, everything where the bracket would go up so it can clear frame and everything

create a new bracket that is u shaped. bolt it to your frame have it go back towards the rear of the vehicle go up your required amount then go back forward to the bumper... that is what i would do assuming the bumper clears the frame and everything else
