Need to replace alt. 160amp's good enough?

First off I hope R&R is as easy as my stang. 5 minutes

I've read that these stock alts on the 5.0's are 130amps and I found a 160 on ebay for only 139+22 shipping. Autozone has a stock one for 165$

I'd rather get an upgraded one since my 1 pair of hella's already show a drain on the system at idle-1500rpm (where I spend most of my time being I don't have 4/low) and I Have 2 more sets of hella 500's sitting in the garage waiting to go on the roof rack

When I'm driving the needle on the batt gauge is so low it totaly shows the battery and if i'm wheeling and don't have the RPMS up with my brights/hella's on it dims BAD and the truck will almost die.

Go with the 160 from E-bay or get a local 130?

I retrofitted a 130 with an overdrive pulley on my stang and its been great with my stereo and electric fan.

ya but the 200 is 80$ more. I can use that for a new bumper

btw has anyone purchased an alt from that seller? He's got good feedback but usualy its left when the people get the package and not use the product.
