Neet help with no start issue

Patient is 1997 Mountaineer (5.0L). Searched the forum and read all that relates to no start & starter issues.

The starter does not turnover. New starter and new starter solenoid relay switch (behind battery). When the key is turned, the starter s-connector is not getting a 12v. Starter turns over when jumped on the solenoid.

Troubleshoot by following the service manual, but, on the manual it's states that I have to test the starter relay. Anyone know where the starter relay is located?

Any input is appreciated.

EDIT: Fuse #24 (10amp) blows every time the tumbler is turned. Any ideas on how to trace this?

solenoid is probably shot mine was i cuz i just had that problem

try replacing the solenoid. I believe it's either on the starter itself, or on the fender. I have a 5.0 mustang (my sn) but i only have the 4.0 x.
