Negative Battery Cable Question

Hello all. I need to replace the negative battery cable in my 2000 Explorer. Is this just a straight shot to the frame or does it split off or add other ground wires on the way. I can't tell because it's wrapped up with other cables after it leaves the engine compartment.

Welcome to this forum! It's possible that it might split, but if you buy an OEM part it will look the same as the one in there now.

It is a rather small harness, it has a few wires as part of it, the starter wires etc. They are not bad at Ford still I believe, some are no longer available.

If money is tight I would have a custom cable made, they run me under $25 here for huge welding cable pieces. Regards,
