negative battery cable replacement

I've got some corrosion on my negative battery cable and it needs to be replaced. Can I just get a replacement from Pep Boys or Napa or is there something special for a 2k Explorer that would require me to get this cable from Ford. Thanks

If you just have corrosion and the wire still looks good. Take it out and clean it with baking powder and water. I the wire is frayed then replace it. Pull out the cable and just get one that is close to the same length, just don't get one shorter.
