neon tube 20" behind grille looking like garbage

i put a 20" white neon behind the grille, and quite frankily. it sux. is a streetglow. accent tube its kinda behind the center and i have foil over the front to keep the tube from showing. do i want the tube to show.or do i want to do something else. im looking for some help

i'd say if you want to keep that tube in working condition to take it out of the grille and put it back on the inside of your truck.
unless its a streetglow that is waterproof... you'll get lots of water in it really fast.
Even at that, i wouldn't put a 30+ dollar light in the grille...i did that before with a neon licence plate and it worked good for about 6 days then the plate burned up...don't work no more.
i think it got tooo hot in the grille just inches from the raditaor for the neon.
Try what you will....i suggest taking it out asap

it should be find i have a protector shield for the front and a speedgrille to keep stuff out

i'm just trying to warn ya
the neon licence plates are made to be outside
but whatever the reason, mine still got fried....or broke cuz of water.. not sure.

it will look better if you cant see the tube. try putting it above or below, but not in the center. maybe get 2 and put them on the sides.

i think Quick has neon behind his grill. his tube doesnt show. i think he put it on top.

i put it in the center, and i poked holes in this high temp foil and put it around the neon. then i coated everything in there with foil and it reflects light super. the whole thing looks 10X bad ass

you didnt cover the radiator, did you??

air needs to pass through those fins in the radiator so it can cool your engine.
