Hey gang,

Just wondering what everyone thought of this:

Thats the new 2005 Cadillac STS, finally switched to a rear drive platform. I like the styling actually and I haven't found any of the new Cadillacs appealing other than the XLR roadster. Looks like Cadillac may have finally gotten the hang of their new styling theme.

Whats everyone think? Good enough to get us ex-Cadillac drivers out of our Lexuses, BMWs, and Mercedes?

I have to get into a Lexus, BMW, or Mercedes first:p Im still a little out on the headlights. I thought the Cadillacs were rwd already.

The only thing about Caddies is the Northstar motor block. They tend to use oil like nobody's business. My uncle has always had and always will have caddies and likes them very much. However, lately he's been getting a new one every few years because of the motor problems.

We're talking routinely 1-2 qts every 1000 miles. No smoke or leaks, but it just disappears. Seems like their aluminum blocks just don't seal well.

But um, don't you have 2 new cars?

I remember that from my 95 STS. The problem is that the oil gells up requiring motor flushes every so often or the gel will cause the engine to seize. That may have been remedied, I don't know.

And no, I'm not going to buy one lol just thought it was interesting.
