New 2015 Explorer Owner

Just bought my first explorer 2wks ago, 2015 Limited 4WD. I got the one with 301A pkg, I have everything except the Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist and the Automatic rain sensing wipers.. Love it so far, is there anything i should look out for beings this is my first? Also, wanting to get some floor liners for it, WeatherTech or Husky?

I went with WeatherTech. You can't go wrong. I also ordered the wind deflectors. It adds a nice touch to the car

I have a new 2015 Limited as well in Ingot Silver. Which color did you get?

I have Husky liners in mine, but WeatherTech in our Outback. The Husky provide better side coverage. Quality is about the same.

Welcome to the forum Larryboy!
The Weathertech or Husky liners are both good choices as you can see by the other comments. Being your first, there is really nothing to look out for as most of the bugs were fixed in the earlier models except the smell some have when revving the engine above 4k rpm's. Hope yours doesn't get that problem as it is hit or miss with a lot(not just Ex's or Ford in general) of today's vehicles.

Both WeatherTech and Husky liners are superior to the OEM all weather mats. If you want maximum carpet coverage, go with Husky. They will cover the area up to the door sill. I suggest that you check out the followingthread;

Tuxedo Black and I Love it!!! The wife wanted White but dealer couldnt find one in the Limited, so I got my choice which was the Tux Black!

I went with the Captains Chairs in the 2nd row w/o center console, so that's another question when it comes to the floor liners. Husky shows their 3rd row liner with a longer middle section that looks like it might cover thearea in the 2nd row, WeatherTech's pic doesn't. Any ideas?????

The Husky third-row liner has the center section included if you don't have the console. If you have the console, you simply cut that piece out. You won't regret Husky - the coverage is much better than Weathertech.

Went with the Husky liners because they had the 3rd row liners as well. I went with the Xact Liner in the 1st and 2nd rows and the Weatherbeater Liner in the 3rd row. Husky doesn't offer the Xact in the 3rd row. Really like hoe the liners look and fit, only one dislike is the height of the 2nd&3rd row sides. Wish they were as high as the front liners, which come up even with floorboard.
