We just picked up our 2016 Explorer Limited and have two questions;

1. Is the 3rd row supposed to come with floor mats? Ours didn't and was just wondering if that's the norm.

2. The heated steering wheel only gets slightly warm (barely noticeable) at the 1:00 and 7:00 position. Is that how the others are? It's not a big deal because we are in North Florida and it doesn't get really cold here, but occasionally it's nice to have.

Thanks for any input.

Carrie

1) Normal. No mats for back there.

2) Normal. The colder the wheel, the warmer it feels, in more locations.

Enjoy your new Explorer!:)

The wheel isn't completely even in the heat coverage, but for me the 10-ish and 2-ish (where the seams are and "south") areas are the coolest of the wheel

its 39 degrees here in NY and the the heat on the steering is pretty comfortable but i feel it's colder in the 3 and 9 positions.

No mats for the third row on my Sport either.
Temperature is in the negatives now where I live and can feel the heated steering wheel through my leather gloves, so it's fairly strong; at 11, 6 and 3 positions.
