I have just purchased an Explorer. I am replacing an '89 Probe. I'm hoping that the Explorer will give me the same miles that the Probe did (235,000). She has only 72,500 right now.

The 5.0 drivetrain is very reliable, and maintained properly, I'd say you could get that out of the Explorer. It may take a bit more gas though

The Probe has just got to the point where it is costing too much and needs to much to keep running. She still starts and runs well though. Body and suspension are shot. I plan on taking her to a demolition derby for her final farewell.
