Ok, so I've searched and found that rubber bushings are better for flex. I am going to replace the bushings in my x soon and wanted to know if anybody knew of a company, besides ford, who sales the rubber bushings for the entire front end. I know i can get a poly kit for the entire truck for about $130. Anybody know where i might be able to find a full rubber kit?:dunno:

i know about the poly bushings and if you are willing to spend the money i highly suggest you go with the poly, they last longer and they will smooth out the ride a little, but as far as the rubber bushings, i think it might just be ford because most companies are going to the poly.

You can get a rubber bushing kit at almost any parts store. A few brands also offer urethane for slightly more.

I'd go with the full Poly kit from Energy Suspension, it's a heck of a lot firmer and reduces the flex quite a bit initially, but once you break the bushings in the difference between rubber and poly is minimal. If you want the MOST flex, worn out rubber will outdo fresh rubber or new poly every time.

Thanks for the replies. I think I am going to go with the energy set up. I am going for flex but it would be nice to have a setup that will last.
