Hey guys just wanted to introduce myself and say hey. Been around Ford's for a long time and have actually been a member here since 2009, just haven't got around to posting much since I haven't got another explorer or sport trac.

I am finally looking into getting an 06-10 model. I have read a good amount on them through the years on here but was just curious if any one knew the differences between the Eddie Bauer and Limited Explorers?

I've searching the forums and googling, but it has been hard to really find an concrete info.

The Limited has about everything that Ford offered except maybe powered running boards. The Eddie Bauer, not so much. I am not sure if the Limited was only offered in the V8.

My 2006 EB has practically everything that Limited came with. The only difference is the paint scheme and leather color inside. And yes, originally if you got Limited, you had v8 with tow package and 2 in receiver.

Ford's Answer

Here's a link to the 2010 Explorer brochure. 2009 and below had some subtle differences as well. Main things are tire size, trim color, leather seats, climate and info center upgrade, etc.
