The new Vette looks sweet. GM is trying to regain supremecy over Ford again and I think they have some good ideas. Well, the Monaro and this new Vette might be all actually... nevermind. At least they aren't going "retro" like the new Musatng II, oh I mean Mustang II / 60's fastback.

Looks better than the others but the headlights look Porsche and the sides look Viper. Wonder if it'll be $60k now? Retro sells, CAC91. I think if they did a 50's Vette it would sell like crazy.

I like the 53 Retro Vette. There is a shop that will build one on a '04 Z06 chassis. Total for donor Vette and new body is somewhere around $100,000...

I am not sure where the link is, but a google search will find it. I think the guy has made three or four so far. However, at 100G a pop, I can see why.

I see they're keeping the fata** rear end look. I was hoping the next gen Vettes would lose that look and streamline it a bit but I guess not. I loved the looks of the C5 until I saw the rear.UGH!! I saw one of those retro Vette's a few days ago and that was ugly as hell too IMO...

Yep the sledge hammer is 2nd fastest production car according to ____________(some website that deals with supercars....quite possibly supercars.net) and the fastest from north america, the 1st place is german.

...always been a fan of fun fast cars, regardless of the maker... i think im unbiased in it bc ill never be able to own one, so why pick sides haha...

I think people should be anticipating the release of the Ferrari killer, Ford GT (once called a Ford GT40 but renamed it for new production cause the new one is 44 in high not 40). Even though it is going to cost $150,000 it will be well worth buying. I think Vettes are too overrated. But I am a kid what do i know.

The new GT40 is called a GT because (stupid) Ford never copyrighted the name. So somebody else did. Now they'de have to pay to use it.

umm... do you realize how immature that response just made you sound? where did he try to make you look bad? there was no derogatory tone in his response. i suggest you watch the attitude or you will have very few friends on the forum who will help you if the need comes up. i see you are a newbie so just learn from it and calm down.

if you think he was calling you stupid.. reread the post a second time (i'm pretty sure you couldn't have read it twice before) and you'll see its obvious he was calling ford's decision to not copyright the name stupid. heck i had to read his post like 10 times to find what got you so worked up. calm down.. relax.. apologize for the lame response.. and everyone will continue to get along just fine.
