New Carbon Fiber Altezzas! not TYC! *link*

Wasnt sure where exactly to post this- i posted in the Sport truck section - but many do not visit that part of the board and thought others might wanna see them.

I found some new Carbon Fiber Euro Tails on ebay- different than many others ive seen.. so here is the thread w. the pics

i figured id catch some flak for it.. i should have posted here initially since this is kinda where it belongs more so than sport truck.. it borders both.. since most people dont even read the sport truck forums i figured it would be a benefit to some people if they saw it here.

Well I have to say thank you, 'Frolic...I almost never come into this forum, and you're right, Altezzas are more of a sport thing

Please keep us posted on the replies from the seller-I'd like to see the black chrome version as well!

Well, buy them and put them on. That way you can see what they look like. (Just make sure you take pics and post them so me and everyone else that wants to see them on an X first will know how they look.)

I found someone that bought these and I'm gonna try to get some pics when they get them installed. They should look good, although, I think I would rather have black ones. I hope they dont leak.

If i hadnt just ordered 20's i would pick them up right now.. I need to wait till next pay check before i can even "consider" buying them.. i want them bad tho- either in CF or black chrome..

Those look cool but I think I'd still go with the carbon fiber TYC kind.

I dont really like the TYC tails. I would like a set of the other kind but not carbon fiber... just black.

98fordX24- i cant say i like the TYC tails either. At least not on my explorer..
I would love these new ones in a black as well.. CF has never done it for me.

hrm....I'm not so sure about those either now....

Has anybody thought of taking the first style chrome altezzas to come out and somehow tinting the plexiglass to make them darker (either inside the glass or out)?

I ask because I found a set of the kind that procarparts was selling on a wreck where I work....debating if I should sell them or play with them.
