'86 Bronco 2
I recently bought an 86 bronco 2. It is an automatic with 4 wheel drive. I have had the trany serviced. Her name is edie. edie is giving me quite a bit of trouble. This is my first 4 whl drive. I work in the mountains and need to get her running but I am at a loss as to what to do to her. She stalls, and dies on me regularly. I would not mind so much if I new what the problem was, or where to start. I put a new thermostat in, and changed the fuel filter. It seems to me that there must be some type of problem with the fuel injected 2.9 liter v6. Then there seems to also be some type of cooling system problem too. I bought the manual but this being my first Ford as well as my first 4 whl, I am feeling a like I am in over my head. I believe this car could be a lot of fun as well as working well with the type of job I do. I do not give up on things easily and I hate wasting money. Any advice would be welcome.:confused:jmad
