It looks like i might finally be getting a new explorer... or at least new to me. Ive been looking at 2003 (new) and 2002 (used) explorers and explorer sports. I think I decided to go 4x2 this time around, mostly for the added power and that I rarely used my 4x4 (City dweller... plus.. those times I did use my 4x4, I just got in trouble.. heh) Anyways, Im looking to go cheap, but wanted to know what the opinions are out there for must have options or things I should look for. Its gunna be V6 SOHC, and "True Blue" for sure... and I think I want the lower gears...

Well for starters, I wouldn't buy a brand new sport. Those things are overpriced when they are new. If you're going to plunk down 28k just spend a little more and get a four door. Just go with your gut instinct and you'll get a great X.
