new exhaust !!!!!

I have been contemplating for some time on what exhaust to get. I was talking to one of my friends that has and X. well long story short, I did a 2.5" straight pipe from the 2nd cat back... NO MUFFLER...oh it sounds so sooo good. Its loud when I want it to be and quiet when I want it to be. The cats also provide enough backpressure and I can still pass emmisions. and it only cost $80 which is a hell of a lot less then every other exhaust I have been looking at.

You are probably going to lose HP. And as the sound of an X without a muffler . You should probably put on a performance muffler like borla, flowmaster or even gibson. These mufflers with make the X sound a hell of a lot better.

depending on where you live, you may pass the smog test but may not pass a visual without a muffler....

yeah go with a flowmaster or borla exhaust that should help you more with hp and give you a deeper growl
