Hello all, recently picked up a '21 Platinum, coming from a '19 Camry and needed a little more room for the family. We are not new to Explorers as my wife had an '08 XLT, and then we went to a '17 XLT which we sold during Covid. She picked up a Palisade after that as it hit all the boxes and great price before everything else spiked.
Once ready to get into a newer vehicle myself I took to the newer bodies and was looking at the ST but really wanted a Bench seat. I did find some options with the bench but most were 400-500mi away and didnt trust getting anything I couldnt see with my own eyes first. Found this Platinum in Graham,NC and while it was super dirty when i first saw it I knew it could work out really well for us and was happy to hear that it had the same drivetrain as the ST.
So far its got a few items blacked out like the Ford emblems, Bottom side door strip, rear reflectors and bottom chrome strip from the bumper. 1" spacers all around and K&N filter installed. Hoping to pickup an exhaust soon and then probably some lowering springs just to get the stance a little lower and tightened.
