02 Sport Trac
Hello all. I picked up a 02' SportTrac 2x in May. I have been driving the heck out of it. Replaced all fluids and went Synthitic. Now looking for upgrades and modifications. Glad to see another Ford board on the net. Been a member of many ranger and focus boards for years. Have not been able to find to much SportTrac specific info on the net though. Any suggestions to help I will be appreciated. Are suspensions simular to other models? And is there somewhere I can look up the vin number or ?? to see what came stock from the factory. The only mods I can see on it sofar are tires and wheels.

I hope I also can become an assit to the board. I am a sheet metal mech. and a graphic designer for textiles, awards and vinyl output. And a pepper tree mech... with some education in the repair field. I am a member of a 12 class car, racing baja (and will be at the primm 250 coming up).

Thanks and nice to meet all of you..... RJ

:us: Have a fun and safe 4th.

Welcome to the board. You've come to the right place. There are a good amount of Sport Tracs owners on here! A lot of the 2nd gen (95-01) parts will work with your sport trac. Superlift makes a suspension lift for your Trac. It only comes in 4" though. You can also get a body lift to work 2-3" of clearance. A good site performance wise would be ExplorerExpress.com! They specialize in our drivetrains, suspensions, etc. -- Pretty much anything that'll work on an Explorer will work on yours as well.

Vin

Welcome to the site, its full of Xcellent information.

There is a lot of information available here. There is a search feature that when used properly helps you find things a little easier. The search can be done at any page and would yield something like the attached, which has some codes and also has a post that will lead you to a link to the VIN search site.
