Hello everyone! I just finished installing new:

Rotor
Caliper
Pads
Wheel bearings and seals

On my 94 Ex Sport 4WD

I used the awesome front brake diary to get everything done.

Previously the truck was pulling HARD to the left when braking. Seemed like the passengers caliper was stuck open so I replaced it along with everything else while I was in there. The truck no longer pulls; actually it stops great now, but the passengers side squeals all the time until I depress the brake pedal.

I have everything ready to do the driver's side, but I wanted to solve this squealing before I went ahead and did the other side. Any thoughts?

I used an AC/Delco loaded caliper with all new hardware, bled the brakes thoroughly and everything seems great except for the constant squealing!

Thanks!

I'd say give them time and follow the manufacturer "bedding in" process. If the calipers were "loaded" including pads, they
should be ready to bolt on. If you bought separate pads, they are "semi loaded" calipers, and the pads may require shims or
anti squeal compound such as CRC Disc Brake Quiet on the rear of the pads where they contact the caliper pistons. Also,
make sure ALL hardware contacting the caliper is greased with high temp silicone brake lube or SylGlyde. GL

Thanks swshawaii.

Turned out to be the slides sticking. I used the included silicone but the teeny sugar packet they provide wasn't enough. Removed the slides and cleaned everything again. Used triple the amount of silicone and now she's silent.

Just finished the other side and she's like new!

You might actually want to clean the slides again and put on the proper lubricant. There's caliper slide grease that's very tacky and thick but it's all synthetic, using teflon, graphite and molybdenum. It's not the OEM stuff but very close and preferred by a lot of members here. It's CRC's 5351 Synthetic Grease, take a look:
