Ok i have a 94' X on 33's (stock gears) when i am makin the trip back home from school i usually go around 75 and in order to maintain this speed i have to keep it at 3500 RPMs

Is this a gearing problem? any ideas would be awesome thanx

ok i know a good bit bout my truck but one thing thats always been unclear is re-gearing wat does that actually do? just help turn the bigger tires?

Like dman said, 4.56s would be MUCH better.

If you check out C.W. Off-Road , they quoted me $200 install, plus the price of gears. I haven't had mine regeared yet, b/c I'm waiting to see what size tires I'll be going with next. But when I do, I will have them do it (along with my sliders, bumper, and possibly SAS). They are REALLY nice guys and will be able to help you out.

did you give them a call bryan?

btw.. the guys there are friends of mine so i'll vouch for their service.

We've been sending each other emails, but after I get some new wheels for my bike (tomorrow), I will definitely be calling him about the sliders ;)
