You know I was thinking the same thing, those skinny azz tires don't do anything for the stance on this truck. Maybe i could get the stock wheels widened for a stock look.
I wouldnt say they are skinny just not super wide for a truck that nice. You could consider a 295/45/20-they are pretty wide and not very expensive. Yokohama Parada Spec X is a nice tire and somewhere around $160 with a $40 rebate.
Or again, you could just park it in my driveway with the keys in the ignition. Think of it as explorer brotherly love, I could break it in for 10-30,000 miles for you.

Widening the stock wheels would be a good idea and I can't say enough good things about my Hankook Ventus ST RH06 tires that I just bought. Mine are 275/45/20's which are a little bit shorter and a little bit wider. Widen wheels+slighly lowered=DONE!!!
Edit- If you haven't already, tint the front windows with at least 20% to match the rears

There is no longer a product on the market to lower these trucks!
Wider tires woudl be a good idea for sure.....at least 285's!!
I'm running 265-40-22's and I'm DEFFINETLY going to a 285-40-22 in the rear next time around!

I am curious to know if the spring from the 07+ Sport Trac is any different than the 02-05 Explorers? I am going to have to look into this when I do my spring swap with GF springs and if you still have your stockers, we can do a comparison.

You'd probably want to research the actual spring rates of the springs in addition to visually comparing them. Could sit and ride differently even though the uninstalled height appears the same.
