New guy - Hello from San Diego

Hi, I'm Steve....

I recently picked up a black 2003 Sport Trac XLT Adrenalin in excellent shape with 90K miles. I got it from my neighbor for $500.
I've never been a Ford guy but I'm really liking this vehicle!

No typo - the vehicle had a broken timing chain and the engine was toast. The dealership wanted $4K to fix it and my neighbor was just over it. I asked him what he was going to do with it and his reply was donate it to charity - I offered him $500 cash and he had the dealer tow it to my place.
I located another engine with 82K for $1,300 with plans to install it myself and when the guy offered to install it for an additional $250 I said done deal!

$500, is that a typo?!
