Greetings to all. As a new owner of a '15 Explorer XLT, it was imperative to find a forum to get good info and to schmooze. Well, this is the place for it, I think.
I'm a retired military technician whom, for 20 years, drove Mustangs, the last being a '13 GT/CS and also, still drive an '07 Ranger XLT 4x4 super cab. However, with my changing needs, I traded the Mustang in for the Explorer and couldn't be happier even though I will miss the stang. But, that won't last long as the versatility of the Explorer and my hobbies and traveling interest make the decision for the Explorer a perfect platform.
I hope to get many years of service in this regard. Got a great deal on it too but, had to search around to get it. My needs were simple, an Explorer with a nav system would have been sufficient. However, I quickly realized I couldn't get the nav system without getting a 'package'. Long story short, I found one with the 202b package with several other options attached with what I consider a ridiculously low price including all the rebates and a great trade in value for the stang.
Anyway, gad to be here!
Say? How about a pic? OK, here it is as enjoy one of my many hobbies!
