New guy here. Have a 2002 Explorer with 100K miles. My front windshield washers work, rear one does not. I have a crack in the pump letting water leak out so I need to replace that first. Looks like it just pulls out of the tank and the grommet is what holds it in there? I figure while I have the hoses disconnected, I will use an air compressor to blow thru the rear hose to see if its clogged. I cant tell where this hose goes thru the body? Looks like a common problem on these trucks. I tried the search function but it did not work. I did find a sticky to fix my no heat problem so will tackle that next weekend. Thanks in advance!

Had the same issue when I bought my '02. Found the hose was disconnected at the bottom of the resevoir under the hood. Easy fix. You probably want to check there first, since that is usually the cause.

I'd be careful with blowing air through. Take the chance of blowing apart a hose connection somewhere that could be really hard to find. Maybe canned air instead?

Thanks, I checked that first thats how I found the cracked washer pump motor... I can dial down the air pressure so I won't blow the hose off the connector.

I just had the same problem. The hose came apart behind the wheel well. The hose comes up from the water bottle and over the wheel well on the inside of the engine compartment. Hope this helps
