- '94 Explorer EB
Hi to everyone, I'm new here in the explorer only site, but have been around the block for a while on ford-trucks.com. I recently bought a pair of 94 Eddie Bauer explorers to replace the 93 my wife parked in the ditch. We had only owned the 93 for a month, so not too familiar with these yet. Anyway, one of the EB's had a blown head gasket and busted heads, just got done swapping them out with donors from the 93 which had new ones last spring. Finally got it running tonight and have some questions. For some reason, I have a 92 owners manual, but it doesn't explain all the bells and whistles the EB has. The dome lights don't work, the wipers don't work, and the power locks don't work. I'm assuming its all fuses, does the fuse layout in the 92 book match the 94? I checked the under dash fuses and they're ok, but again, not sure if they matched the book.
The second EB has some front end damage that I can fix with most of the good parts from the 93, but I haven't had it running yet either. Are these supposed to have key fobs for keyless entry? And who can explain the auto-dim, etc rear-view mirror? Lots of info for a new guy, but like I said, been around the block before, just a new ride.
