Hello all . Just purchased a '97 Explorer and thought i should say hi - seems like a friendly enough site. Impressed with motor so far with the exception of the suspension . Was led to believe Explorers suffered slightly from a 'choppy' ride and have found this to be the case! Lovely ,smooth feedback on decent roads but skittish over potholes / road defects etc . So , my question is - should i just get used to it and stop being a big wuss , or is it worth investing in some decent aftermarket stuff ? The vehicle is never gonna be off-roaded but we were hoping to do some touring miles . All advice and info welcome . Thanks , Roey.

Get used to it!
You'll end up spending more on suspension mods than you did on the car... And it probably won't make much difference...
