Picked up this '01 limited for free a couple months ago. When i got it, the shackles were rusting off, the wheels had baked on rust from the old rotors grinding, the inside was filthy, check engine light was on, wipers didn't work, drivers side back door wouldn't open, valve covers were swapped to mustang aluminum ones (then the dude smashed the oil fill tube off and hammered in a flasher to plug the hole!) and you couldn't put it into park... o, and it had 212,000 miles
Now it's level, new wheels/tires, replaced the DPFE, cleaned it, cleaned it again, replaced the multifunction switch, reupholstered the console lid, fixed the stuck door latch, fixed valve cover oil fill tube, replaced gasket, fixed a bent bracket, and missing hardware on the shift cable.
Still needs some stuff tho, rear main seal leaks, and i need to replace the lock switch on the drivers door.
So far i have about $400 into it lol, while i was replacing the valve cover i threw on my tubular GT-40 intake, 1" heat spacer, bypassed the coolant lines to intake, and added a cold air intake with bbk filter all off one of my cars.
