Hi All! I have owned a 2000 Explorer XLT for 4 years now and love it. I want keep it running for as long as I can!

The check engine light came on. How do I fix? I found code readers on Ebay for $45. Should I buy and diagnose myself?

Thanks!

Its defiantly a worth while investment, It certainly saves time, rather than driving all the way to autozone, for $45 thats a pretty good deal. I would go for it. Remember to post your codes on here so we can help you out.

Good Luck

welcome
