Hi All
My name is Dan and I am from Sonoma County Ca.
I just picked up a 1994 XLT 4x4 from my neighbor for 700 bucks
Its in good shape although I had to do about 500 dollars in brake work but still well worth $1200. At least I think so
My first question is although the front brakes were just done (new rotors, Pads, bearings repacked etc.) I still have a clicking noise from the front left wheel that stops with any pressure on the brake pedal. The Brake guy says it is probably a "hardware kit" for the brakes meaning that the springs on the pads are worn and the pad is moving while the rotor turns but stops when the brakes are applied because the pressure holds the pad in place. It makes sense but could it be something more serious? I really think they shouldve found this when they had the brakes torn apart but thats another story.
Any way you guys are the experts should I be worried ?
Thanks In advance for any help
Dan
